Inspired by my routs and architectural background in this collection, I wanted to explore the interplay of rhythms. I created a visual rhythm by placing rectangular blocks of clay that ascend, decreasing in size. At the same time, these elements exist within another layer of rhythm—an alternating pattern of smooth and rough textures.
